Desmond concedes to Sullivan

Michael Sullivan will succeed the 48 year reign of his uncle Edward J. Sullivan as Middlesex County Clerk of Courts. Sullivan’s opponent, Alderman-at-Large Bruce Desmond conceded the race shortly after the polls closed tonight. Sullivan has been a Cambridge City Councilor for the past 12 years. Desmond has been an alderman since 2001. This was his first run for state office.
