The Somerville News Person of the Week – July 11

On July 11, 2012, in Latest News, by The Somerville Times

The Somerville News Person of the Week, Dave Lebahn.

Meet Dave Lebahn, a newly planted Somerville resident originally form Scranton, PA, where he grew up and attended and graduated from Bishop Hannon High School. David is recently married to our Publisher Emeritus Bob Publicover. Since moving here to his new permanent home in the ‘Ville, Dave has been going to school to become a Registered Nurse, presently half way through his classes.

Dave is a nice, really genuine guy who has a big thing for comic books, especially Spiderman, Superman, and hero types of comic books. He’s a very smart, caring and thoughtful person who is devoted to his partner Bob, and you can see that when they are together. His only problem is that he is never on time, especially with waking up and getting the day started. Bob likes to walk to the various coffee shops around the ‘Ville and Dave ends up meeting him there. You can, most of the time, spot them on Highland Avenue at Three Figs or at the Armory. Oh, did we mention that Dave has a thing for the dramatics? See the picture? His biggest love before coming to Boston was putting on plays and/or playing in them. We think Dave is a nice guy and doesn’t usually get the attention that his partner Bob gets. That is one reason why we choose Dave as our pick for The Somerville News Person of the week. If you see him, say “Hi” and enjoy a nice conversation with him. We think he’s a good guy.
