The Somerville Public Schools hosted the annual Special Olympics School day Games at Dilboy Stadium Thursday, June 7. The event began with a Parade of Athletes participating in the games.

Student-athletes from Somerville High School, Kennedy School, Healey School, Winter Hill Community School, and West Somerville Neighborhood School participated. Events for the 2012 Games included the long jump, 50-yard dash, throwing, potato sack race, relay races, obstacle course, and batting tees.
