Police were called to Red Bones Restaurant last week on reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers witnessed two men on the street outside of the restaurant engaged in a heated exchange.

The men were reportedly arguing loudly, with one man accusing the other of being a rapist. A woman who was with the accusative man tried to calm him down by saying that the other man was not attempting to rape her, but rather that he had merely asked her to leave with him, police said.

Officers noted an odor of alcohol coming from the agitated man and that he appeared to be intoxicated, according to reports.

The man reportedly said that either he would get vengeance on the other man or that “the Lord” would.

Police report that passers by on the busy street were gathering to watch the spectacle and that the area had come to a near standstill due to the ruckus.

As the man, Paul King, 49, of Cambridge, refused to comply with commands to calm down he was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct.
