Just a week and a half after the big ground breaking, a fire broke out at the new Avalon at Assembly Square Row Construction site on Monday night.

The fire started out around 9:00 p.m. on a piece of equipment, a hydraulic lift that was burnt and destroyed in the fire.

According to construction workers on the property, no suspicious foul play is believed to be involved. An electrical short fire is being blamed for the blaze.
