How nice is it to be enjoying such a mild winter season? What? Do you mean to say that you miss shoveling the walk and driveway? Scraping the ice off of the car windshield. Over and over and…
Did we hear that right?
We thought not.
Oh, as New Englanders we do have quite a bit of the white stuff in our veins. We love to behold a snowy powdered landscape during the holidays, like a Currier and Ives lithograph come to life. Some of us are winter sports enthusiasts, schushing the slopes or traversing the tundra on a bobsled – while certain others prefer the cozy warmth of a hot toddy in the ski lodge.
But this time around, we are relishing the prospect of an early spring arrival and soaking up the relative mildness of this season’s gentility of climate.
Better enjoy it while we may, though. You know how awfully hot and humid it can get around here in the summer. Oh well.
