I’m your grand failed experiment
I guess I grabbed an after-dinner mint
And on the Star Wars chart, I’m a long blue wave
You said you’re not very well-behaved
as the TV set fell two stories down
my pixels screamed in ghostly sound.
I’m picking up the mica pieces now.
They still exact their change.
Every time you said don’t eat you’ll last.
I didn’t have the will to fast.
The colors pink and green and blue.
Objects wove my hunger through.
I sucked them up like sugar glue.
I’m your grand failed experiment.
I’m still a childish wonderland.
I’m still Alice in a tailspin and
I’d like the chance to change back to…
I’m your grand failed experiment.
I guess I grabbed an after-dinner mint.
And on the Star Wars chart, I’m a long blue wave.
The princess looks a Sufi now.
In Bjork-like braids of powerful wow.
The elephant taught me how to fly.
Dark chocolate dances in the sky.
I still love the stars all right.
We headed to the millennium.
A party situation to the end.
The devas dance in white reply.
They whispered, “Stay awake all night.”
“Just stay awake without your sleeping sight.”
I’m your grand failed experiment.
