The First Ever Somerville Bulb Blitz! is a City of Somerville initiative aimed at building landscape stewardship and community. 52 volunteers showed up at six locations throughout the City to plant 2012 daffodils and tulips. While volunteers had a a great time flexing their muscles, the ultimate gratification will be in the Spring when the City blooms with color. Volunteers worked at Union Square, Wilson Square, Davis Square, Perry Park, and Capuano School.
