The Somerville girls varsity volleyball team lost to Methuen 3-0, and beat GBL opponent Everett 3-0 last week.  They are now 6-3, and 3-1 in the GBL.

Nicole Genard, Jaquiline Homsi, and Jen Bathol continue to lead the attack, averaging eight kills per game between the three of them. Brittany Cassidy and Melissa McGovern are beginning to run a balanced attack by setting up all of hitters, and they are averaging about 8.5 assists per game between the two of them. Maria Dardonis and Nazha Ferradi have been fantastic on defense by keeping plays alive with their great efforts.
