Next time you are in Davis Square, why not head over to the new high-end consignment shop “Found,” located next to the Foundry. Meredith Bennett of Newton has set up shop, procuring only the best in consigned clothing and accessories from Florida, New York, and Washington D.C.

“I could have gone anywhere, but there was something about Davis Square that kept on drawing me into the area,” said owner Meredith Bennett. “It was the people, it was like a melting pot for all walks of life.“

“Found is the type of place where you can fulfill your dreams with finding a piece of clothing that you could not afford in a retail store,” she said. “We have passion in helping the customers when they walk through the door. We try to be respectful to whatever it is they are looking for, whatever price range they are in.”

Strolling through the shop will set you up with brands like Gap, J. Crew, Banana Republic, and handbags by Louis Vuitton and Zena. But don’t be too worried about the price tag, Bennett said.

“People get so excited when they know they’ve found a Prada bag here, or a Louis Vuitton bag that they’ve been dying for,” she said, adding that the best part was “to see that excitement on their face.”

    Hi Merri
Hope you and everyone are doing well. Just found out you had a consignment shop in Somerville. I was given a Prada shoulder bag, used it twice, and find it uncomfortable to carry. I’m used to hobo bags, as you probably remember. It’s in perfect condition with dust bag and all. Do you have any interest? Can I bring it to your house instead of Somerville?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
