Somerville Court has issued an arrest warrant for former Somerville Police  Officer John Vozzella.  The rogue ex-Somerville Police Sergeant allegedly barricaded himself in his home while police were pounding at his front door this weekend but wouldn’t let them in after reports that the former officer allegedly beat up his girlfriend this past weekend.

Vozzella is the same police officer that allegedly took the department for a ride with his fictitious court detail hours that he submitted to the department for payment then was later forced to resign a couple of years ago.

Vozzella’s brother Bob is another ex-Somerville police officer better known as the “Candyman” by former colleagues who was also allegedly pressured to leave the department after his alleged theft of a bag of candy from a children’s charity halloween haunted house this past October.
