Thursday afternoon a Russell Disposal  truck caught a wire pulling down two trees , a pole, and two home electric service connections for  17 – 19 Aldrich Street at the Virginia Ave intersection.

Emergency and utility crews arrived at the  scene to reroute traffic while electric repairs were being completed.

The  incident occurred  two days after an Nstar crew working on secondary pole electric lines ignited two Nstar trucks and a parked car, leaving an electric worker hanging for his life  from high wire utility lines.
