Police responded last Thursday to a report that an alleged automobile breaking and entering suspect was being detained at a Flint Street residence.

Upon arrival at the victim’s residence, responding officers noted that a man was sitting on the front steps, apparently being surrounded and detained by three other men.

The owner of the vehicle stated that the suspect, Justin Graves, 25, of Dorchester, was observed searching the interior of the car, along with another male who had subsequently gotten away.

The victim and two witnesses reportedly confronted Graves, who was caught with the victim’s GPS device in his possession, according to police reports. The three men reportedly held Graves at the scene until police units arrived.

Graves was arrested and charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle.
