Police were dispatched to Davis Square last Sunday on a report that some youths were being harassed and threatened by a man who seemed to be intoxicated and highly agitated.

Officers reportedly witnessed Jason Dodge, 41, yelling at a group of youths outside the Holland Street T station, and behaving in a physically threatening manner.

Dodge was detained while officers questioned the victims, who had fled inside the T station. The youths reported that Dodge began to harass them for no apparent reason, and also used racial slurs, including “the ‘N’ word,” according to police.

Officers on the scene report that Dodge appeared to be intoxicated and repeatedly made use of “the ‘N’ word” in reference to the victims.

Dodge also allegedly threatened the officers with shooting, as well as losing their jobs at the behest of his father, who he claimed was a federal judge.

He was taken into custody and charged with threatening to commit a crime and disorderly conduct.
