Two men were seriously injured in a fight on Broadway Friday night, police said.

A 23-year-old Cambridge man was stabbed multiple times and a 22-year-old Somerville man was struck in the face and head with a blunt object in an incident police are still investigating. A third person was arrested by Cambridge Police and charged with gun possession in connection to the incident.

The Cambridge man who was stabbed remains hospitalized in critical condition. The Somerville man suffered facial injuries and was treated and released from the hospital.

Police said the stabbing happened near 284 Broadway.
