A Lowell Street man “well known for his aggressive behavior” threw pieces of wood at a real estate broker trying to show perspective buyers the units at a Lowell Street property last week, police said.
Luke Lugo, 25, of 18 Lowell St., was arrested and charged with destruction of property over $250 and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police said Lugo left his home and, from his porch, threw small pieces of wood at clients looking to buy a unit at 22 Lowell St.He allegedly attempted to rip down and destroy part of a new wooden fence separating the properties. Police said the damage to the fence was estimated at $1,000.
Police said Lugo is known for his aggressive behavior towards law enforcement. When officers went to Lugo’s home and asked him to come outside he allegedly responded by saying, “I don’t talk” and gestured with clenched fists for the officers to fight him.
Police issued a burst of pepper spray to Lugo’s face after he swung the door open, hitting two officers in the leg. He was ordered to his knees and taken into custody.

The police are lieing about luke lugo swinging the door open and hitting cops, what had happened was he opened the door, alittle, and they stuck their foot into it trying to break and enter, then when they all went to court both officers involved were beaten in court, so in other words its the rookie cops fault their messed up their own feet in the doorway, don’t believe everything you read folks, no one is to be trusted, especially the police in Somerville, and this ridiculous comment of theirs trying to “cover up the truth” and protect their own officers.
I KNOW LUKE. He personally chased me around my car to hit me with a baseball bat. Threw beers at my car while driving and while i have the baby in the back seat. He harassed me on numerous occasions. Dont believe what the police say you said “eye witness”? Fk you. Do you have any idea how much damage he caused to his family? Do you? Not only to them, his poor daughter. he shouldn’t have ever bred. Before you sit there defending an asshole, you might want to look in the mirror, cuz im sure you’re one too.
He has numerous accounts where hes aggressive, distrubing, among other things. He went to jail which was supposed to be a 6 month provision and hes STILL THERE! Doesn’t that tell you something about his behavior?
And i in fact believe he swung at the officers, maybe not both of them, but he swung.
