Junior Lorenza Etienne is a state meet qualifier in the triple jump, Emma Youte runs hurdles and competes in jumping events and Alisa Feliciano is one of the top 200-meter runners in the Greater Boston league, O’Rourke said. Mary O’Brien is also one of the best javelin throwers in the league, he said.

“[The newcomers], along with the stars from indoor track should help us in our quest for the GBL title. But track is a sport where each week someone new will develop to help us, so you never know. It should be an interesting season,” O’Rourke said.
