This Sunday, July 14, there will be several road closures and detours in place in Davis Square and the immediate neighborhood to facilitate the ArtBeat festival. Please observe posted signage. 

Road closures and detours will be in place from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will likely be traffic delays around Davis Square, so drivers are advised to avoid the area, if possible.

The following roads will have detours/closures:

• Holland Street at Buena Vista Road (Detour)  Holland Street not accessible past Buena Vista going east
• College Avenue at Highland Avenue (Detour) Vehicles may only turn right onto College Avenue from Highland Avenue. (this will include buses exiting onto College Avenue from station)
• College Avenue at Winter Street (Detour) College Avenue not accessible past Winter Street (towards Davis Square)
• Winter Street (Detour) Vehicles may only turn going west (towards Teele Square)
• Elm Street, from Davis Square to Grove Street (Closure)
• Dover Street, from Davis Square to Meacham Road (Closure)
• Day Street, from Herbert Street to Elm Street (Closure)
• Meacham Road from Dover Street to Buena Vista Road (Closure)

Parking Restrictions are as follows, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.:

• No Parking signs on Holland at Winter both sides into Square. Continuing  on Elm at Square to Grove, both sides.
• No parking on Highland from crosswalk / Comicazi into Square, both sides
• Elm Street lot and Herbert Street lot
• No parking on Meacham Road from Day Street to Buena Vista
• No Parking on Chester, both sides, from Elm to Herbert Streets

MBTA Buses: 87, 88, 89, 90, 94, 96  will be rerouted from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Due to the red line closures at Davis Sqyare train station, shuttle stops will be relocated on the day of ArtBeat to Mass Avenue. between Dover Street. and Day Street.
