On Friday, May 31, the last day of the Somerville Growing Center’s 30th Anniversary Campaign, with the generosity of friends and supporters, they reached and surpassed their goal of raising $30,000 in support of their programming and administration.

They raised $30,534, with more coming in. In celebration of 30 years of serving the city the City Council presented the Growing Center with a citation at their June 13, 2024 City Council meeting. You can view that City Council meeting at: https://www.youtube.com/user/SomervilleCityTV.

The community are invited to join in the 30th Anniversary celebration with the FUN-raising Party on Saturday, June 22, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., 22 Vinal Ave. This event will feature live music, dancing, crafts, archival activities and even mini-interviews.
