2024 Somerville Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance Ceremony

Somerville’s Memorial Day parade will be held on Sunday, May 26. 

The parade will step off at 11:00 a.m. from Davis Square, proceeding west on Holland Street through Teele Square and onto Broadway, ending at the Veterans Cemetery between Alewife Brook Parkway and North Street. 

The sity’s annual remembrance ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 27 at the Somerville Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while in service to our country. The ceremony will feature remarks by Mayor Ballantyne and Director of Veterans’ Services Jerome Thomas.

The ceremony will be livestreamed on the CityTV Facebook page (facebook.com/SomervilleCityTV) and broadcast after the event on GovTV (RCN channels 13 or 613; Comcast channel 22) and on the City’s YouTube channel (youtube.com/SomervilleCityTV).

ADA Accessibility Information
There will be four temporary ADA Accessible parking spots on Winter Street near the parade start location.
The ADA-accessible viewing platform for the parade will be at Statue Park. Parking spots and space on the platform are first come, first served.
There will be ADA-accessible public toilets at the beginning and end of the parade route.
