On 4/2/24 at approximately 10:10 a.m., Somerville Police responded to Davis Sq for report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while walking toward Statue Park, he was attacked by two males. The suspects then stole his wallet, and iPhone. One suspect was described as wearing blue jeans and the other dark colored sweatpants.

On 4/4/24 at approximately 12:41 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Alston St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he heard someone walking on the second floor then saw an individual carrying a backpack flee out the front door.

On 4/3/24 at approximately 10:41 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Washington St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she noticed some of her belongings were missing and damaged.

On 4/2/24 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Benton Rd for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she returned home and noticed her door was unlocked and her cats and money were missing.

 

On 4/7/24 at approximately 5:24 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a business on Medford St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated his storage unit was broken into and several belongings were missing.

On 4/6/24 at approximately 4:44 a.m., Somerville responded to Mystic Ave & Rt. 93 for a carjacking. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she was rear-ended by a white BMW. When she got out to assess the damage, two males exited the BMW, pushed her to the ground and then one male stole her vehicle while the other left in the BMW. The incident is being investigated by the Mass State Police.

 

On 4/5/24 at approximately 4:48 p.m., Somerville Police responded to Charlestown St for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who had a severe laceration on her hand. She stated earlier in the day, she was trying to help a homeless male in Davis Sq and he attacked her.

On 4/8/24, officers took a report regarding a past armed robbery. The victim stated that at approximately 8:00 AM, she was walking on Walnut St and was approached by a young male wearing a black mask who brandished a knife and demanded her phone. The suspect took the phone and fled down Columbus Ave.
