Assault
On 3/7/24 at approximately 5:25 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a business on Beacon St for report of a past assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he arrived for work and observed a male party attempting to break into the business. The victim confronted the male and another male then came up behind him and punched him in the face with brass knuckles. The victim suffered injuries to his eye.
Arrest
On 3/7/24 at approximately 3:52 p.m., Somerville Police responded to McGrath Hwy for report of on assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated a male party approached him and brandished a knife at him then punched him in the face. Officers located the male suspect and he was placed under arrest.

Assault
On 3/8/24 at approximately 11:27 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a business on McGrath Hwy for report of a person with a gun. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims who stated they were in their car in the drive-through lane and observed a group of teens in the way. The victims yelled at the teens to move and the teens approached the victims and threatened to brandish a gun.

Attempted Armed Carjacking
On 3/12/24 at approximately 9:14 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a business on Broadway for report of an armed carjacking. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he and his wife were at a gas station and were approached by a male party holding a large knife. The male suspect then demanded they give him the car but the victims fled the area.

Residential Breaking & Entering
On 3/13/24 at approximately 11:02 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Walnut St for report of a building with a smashed window. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the property manager who stated he was checking on the building and noticed two windows were broken and several belongings left inside.

Assault
On 3/18/24 at approximately 5:51 p.m., Somerville Police took a report regarding a past assault. The reporting party stated her juvenile son was on Highland Ave and was assaulted by two juvenile females.

Residential Breaking & Entering
On 3/15/24 at approximately 7:46 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Summer St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims who stated they were inside their home and noticed a male party enter through their rear door. The victims confronted the male and he left the area.

Commercial Breaking & Entering
On 3/15/24 at approximately 11:32 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a construction site for report of a vandalism. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated someone broke into the construction site and cut several electrical wires.
