Budding builders and ninja masters rang in Lunar New Year at LEGO Discovery Center Boston Saturday with a preview of the attraction’s NINJAGO: Dragon’s Rising event. What better year to find your inner dragon power than 2024, the year of the dragon!
The event featured traditional Lion Dances from Yee’s Southern Lions as well as martial arts demonstrations of sword, bo and nunchucks from Xtreme Ninja in Medford. Ater the demonstration, all children in attendance were given lessons in how to become ninja masters themselves. Families were able to find their inner dragon power by finding missing ninjas in the LEGO MINIWORLD®, learning Spinjitzu moves and building the longest LEGO® dragon.
The NINJAGO: Dragon’s Rising event will continue through March 31st so there is still time to find your inner dragon power. The event is based on NINJAGO®: Dragons Rising which is a new show that launched in 2023 which details the saga of NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu. With a bit of teamwork, families will complete powered-up activities in order to earn a special prize and a spark of dragon energy.
Event Experiences & Activities Include:
- Build the baby dragon Riyu in the Workshop and see what baby Riyu sparks in you
- Kids and adults experience a new Ninja training to discover the legendary art of Spinjitzu
- Help build a giant LEGO Dragon
- Collect limited edition dragon power pop badges and touch a plasma ball to spark your dragon energy
- The ninjas have been separated from each other in MINIWORLD® – search for them to bring them back together
