There are plenty of romantic activities to take part in throughout the city this coming Valentine’s Day.

Trying to figure out what to do this Valentine’s Day with your significant other, friends, or even yourself? Here are a few things to keep on your radar when thinking of ideas for next week:

Small Mart Valentine’s Market at Crystal Ballroom

On February 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Crystal Ballroom, 55 Davis Square will hold the Small Mart Valentine’s Market, where artisans, vintage, makers, and experiential vendors will showcase their craft. Brought to you by the High Energy Vintage & Existential Thread Co. and sponsored by The Goods Cannabis Co., the event is free and open to the public. There will also be a bar serving up specialty cocktails and mocktails, too.

Valentine’s Day Flower Arranging Workshop

For those who love being a little creative, swing by the Aeronaut Brewing Company on February 14 at 7:00 p.m. for a Valentine’s
Day Flower Arranging Workshopat 7:00 p.m. for a Valentine’s Day Flower Arranging Workshop. Led by floral designer Rebecca Allamey from Moosh Floral, the night will show you the insider’s scoop on arranging your flowers to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Enjoy the night with some brews by the Aeronaut Brewing Company, too.

Tickets are $85 each, which includes the flowers and plants, a ceramic vessel, transportation materials, and floral clippers. This event is for 21+.

Valentine’s Day at the Somerville Museum

Support the local Somerville Museum by checking out its latest exhibit, “Museo Inmigrante: Stories of Resilience  from Somerville’s Padres Latinos”. Curated by Ivan Abarca, Marta Fuertes, and members of the Padres Latinos Group, this exhibition will explore stories from Somerville’s Padres Latinos, a mutual-aid group of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking families within the Somerville Public Schools. The photos, photographed by both Somerville-based, award-winning photographer Iaritza Menjivar and Mario Quiroz revolve around themes such as memory, family, immigration, and community.
Enjoy a photoshoot on February 14 with Iaritza Menjivar. They will provide the props, background, and expertise. This
Valentine’s Day do something a little different, support your local museum, and share the love with professional photos.

Embracing Pleasure: A Queer Self Love Workshop

Pleasure Pie, an activist program based in Boston that focuses on combating sexual shame and promoting consent education, will be hosting a workshop in Wild Child on February 16. For $25 per person, this event will help individuals practice accepting themselves, and how they can then use this to practice self-care and loving their pleasure.

A Love Affair: Winkler, The Croaks, Willa Davila, Chris Normann

Valentine’s Day may be over after February 14, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t continue celebrating. On February 15, 9:00 p.m., doors at The Rockwell will open for you, your friends, and/or significant other to listen, groove, and dance the night away to live bands, featuring The Croaks, Will Davila, Winkler, and Chris Normann.

Tickets are now available in advance for $15, and day of tickets will be sold for $17. This event is 18+.
