Dear Friends of Union Square,

Fluff Festival will be back in the Square on Saturday, September 23 (rain date 9/24), and it’s people like you who help make it happen!

Whether you’re new to the Square, a Somerville lifer, or something in between, we want YOU to help us celebrate Somerville’s sticky and proud tradition of innovation. It takes more than 100 Fluff-lovers to present this unique and memorable experience for our community, and we hope you’ll join in! Part of a club or have a pack of friends you want to bring? Volunteer groups are welcome!

Opportunities include:

• directing festival-goers at the information kiosks
• running Fluff-themed Midway games
• facilitating shenanigans like Fluff-jousting and Fluff musical chairs, and more!
• selling official What the Fluff? merchandise
• setting up or striking event equipment for games, stages, and vendors
