With the wonderful generosity of Porter Square Star Market on Saturday, June 10, the Somerville Rotary Club held its semi-annual food drive, along with Somerville Rescue Allies Animal Food Pantry.  Proceeds of the food drive benefit Somerville non-profits Project Soup, Respond, and St Patrick’s Women’s shelter.

Rotary is a worldwide service organization whose purpose is to provide humanitarian assistance, encourage ethical standards and promote peace. Somerville Rotary is currently involved in many community projects along with food drives, ongoing support for local food pantries, homeless and domestic abuse shelters and its strong commitment to eliminate Polio worldwide.

Rotary would like to thank each and all who donated and participated.
