Arrests:*
Anthony Pantone, of Wilmington, May 25, 8:33 p.m., arrested at McGrath Hwy. on a charge of fugitive from justice.
Richard Payne, of Everett, May 27, 3:10 p.m., arrested at McGrath Hwy. on charges of shoplifting over $250 by concealing merchandise and threat to commit a crime.
On May 24 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Somerville Housing Police responded to 530 Mystic Ave for report of a past robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a juvenile male who stated while in the area of the parking lot, he was approached by a group of males wearing masks. One of the males then punched him in the face and took several of his belongings.
Commercial Breaking and Entering
On May 24 at approximately 7:13 a.m. Somerville Police responded to a business on Elm St. for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated two laptops, one iPad, a docking station and several keys were stolen. The break is believed to have occurred during the overnight hours. There was no damage observed to any of the doors or inside the business.
Attempted Residential Breaking and Entering
On May 25 at approximately 8:48 a.m, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Ivaloo St. for report of a past attempted breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated the lock on one of his doors was damaged and bent. No entry was made into the residence.
On May 28 at approximately 1:26 a.m., Somerville Police responded to 275 Beacon St for report of a past assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while he was walking on Beacon St, a male party approached him then brandished a knife and began raising it in the air. The suspect then fled the area.
Assault
On May 26 at approximately 11:41 p.m., Somerville Police responded to Prospect Hill Park for report of a male with a knife. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two victims who stated while they were walking to their house, a male party approached them then threw a knife at them. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a pink hat, white T-shirt, a mask and riding a bicycle.
Residential Breaking and Entering
On May 26 at approximately 9:47 a.m., Somerville Police responded to an apartment complex on Broadway for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated someone gained access to his apartment and stole two laptops, keys and medication.
