The annual Ras na hEireann 5K road race, the most genuine Irish race this side of the Atlantic, took place this past Sunday. This race was born in Ireland and named in honor of its famous sister race, the Ras na hEireann International Cross Country held in Termonfechin, County Louth, Republic of Ireland. The top 10 finishers were: 1st – #402 Louis Serafini of Cambridge, 2nd – #575 Dylan Villescas of Charlestown, 3rd – #491 Matthew Coble of Medford, 4th – #38 Megan Bonney of Cambridge, 5th – #194 Danny Huang of Woburn, 6th – #104 Kai Deshima of Somerville, 7th – #116 Joe Dollard of Cambridge, 8th – #311 Liz Mettetal of Lexington, 9th – #64 Daniel Cascio of Medford, 10th – #197 Sarah Innes-Gold of Somerville.
