Families from across Somerville gathered at the Argenziano School Sunday for the Family Music Festival.  The event was sponsored by Somerville Family and Community Connections.  Nomi Davidson, the director, described the event as “a party for the younger ones.”  She said, “It is a way to bring music into the kid’s lives.”

Jeff Jam, Sweet Justice, and Steve Mayone played to a roomful of dancing children, while Rhythmic Explorations provided drums for a Tot Drum Circle.

“I’m so excited so many people came,” said Tara McCaffrey, a member of the Parent Advisory Council.”We’ll definitely try to do this again.”
