Mayor Katjana Ballantyne and the City of Somerville Housing Division are pleased to announce two affordable homeownership opportunities to income-eligible, first-time homebuyers through the city’s Inclusionary Housing Program: one 3-bedroom unit at 411 Norfolk St. and one 1-bedroom unit at 432 Norfolk St. Both condos will be offered to households earning between 81% and 110% of the area median income (AMI).

About 411 Norfolk St.: Unit 2J is a three-bedroom unit at 411 Norfolk St., a 5-minute walk from the new Union Square MBTA Green Line station. Common areas include an entryway mail area and multiple laundry rooms. On-street parking is available by permit.

About 432 Norfolk St.: Unit 2E is a one-bedroom unit at 432 Norfolk St., a 5-minute walk from the new Union Square MBTA Green Line station. Amenities include an open-concept living/kitchen space, hardwood floors, modern tiled bathroom, central heat and A/C, and stainless steel appliances. On-street parking is available by permit.

How to Apply: Applications must be submitted by Monday, January 23, at 2:00 p.m. Multilingual applications and full eligibility requirements are available at somervillema.gov/inclusionaryhousing. Printed copies are available at City Hall (93 Highland Ave.), the City Hall Annex (50 Evergreen Ave.), and the Somerville Public Library East and Central branches.  

 Completed applications can be emailed to inclusionary@somervillema.gov, mailed or hand-delivered to the Inclusionary Housing Program (Housing Division) at 50 Evergreen Ave., Somerville, MA 02145 (must be received by January 23, not postmarked), or faxed to the Inclusionary Housing Program at 617-591-3235.
