Did you know that the Somerville Museum offers seed grants of $2,500 for the Community Curator program? The Museum welcomes proposals from those with extensive resumes as well as those with little experience yet ample vision. We encourage applicants to visit both the Museum and its website in order to learn more about the Museum’s wide-ranging exhibition history. Strong proposals should be clear and concise, presenting innovative and engaging ideas, along with an active programming agenda that will attract a diverse group of participants and visitors.
What do immigrant experiences, chocolate, and Somerville landscapes have in common? They’re all Community Curator exhibitions and you can learn more about them on our website. You can also visit our current Community Curator exhibition, Waterlines by Arlinda Shtuni, open Thursdays 2-7pm, Fridays 2-5pm, and Saturdays 12-5pm.
