The event, enjoying unusually warm weather for the season, commemorated all of the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives from all American wars, but especially those associated with the Civil War who are noted on the Monument at the historic Milk Row Cemetery (1804). A poppy wreath was also laid for the Unknown British soldier buried on site from the American Revolution by a representative from the British consulate, Tom Nickalls. British Redcoat Eric Niehaus, and many additional members of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company were also in attendance.
