Life in the Ville by Jimmy Del Ponte
I’m a loyal listener to sports radio and rumors are flying around about who will be Tom’s next relationship. I couldn’t believe it when they mentioned Taylor Swift’s name.
I asked our readers how they feel about number 12 now that he is not in Foxboro anymore and there is strife supposedly in his TB12 domain. Each quotation is a person’s comment .
“I’m cheerful but as long as he’s not playing against the Patriots. If he plays against the Patriots then I cheer against them.”
“Worshiped the athlete, marveled at his longevity, but the man is falling off the ledge with his ego, leaving his family behind. Sad to say the man had it all but his mountain is crumbling.”
“How can you not like what he gave to this area for 20 years. 6 Super Bowls not bad!”
“Lump him, he had it all, left us and then it all went to hell.”
“No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. It is their life and they will decide what they want to do.”
“Great quarterback … the best. However, when he started he was a nice humble guy and now his head doesn’t fit through the door … it’s all about him.”
“I’ve always loved him but am now wavering a tad. What’s completely sad to me is that, seemingly, they’re fighting about, and jockeying, to be forefront in their respective careers and I think, why don’t you both give a lot more deference to your children, and be more concerned about them, and their happiness, at this point.”
“I agree too but she has definitely taken the back seat for so many years to support him. He should have stayed retired a class act. He’s lost some of that big time.
For all the excitement Tom gave us I remain an ardent fan. I lived in the Tampa area for a while and always rooted for the Bucs … unless they are playing the Patriots. I wish him a lot of luck with his family and his career and I shall always remain a steadfast fan of TB 12.
He definately is a pre-madona, he chooses money over family we know where his priorities lye and it’s not with family.
