Two suspects wanted in Somerville’s Union Square armed robbery

Two teenagers robbed and assaulted a man Jan. 5 in Union Square near the Red House Restaurant, police said.

Police said the victim was walking on Walnut Street at 12:44 a.m. when he noticed two people walking closely behind him. The two people approached him and grabbed his arms, police said.

One suspect hit the victim with a small club and they went through the victim’s pockets stealing all of his personal items, police said.

Police described the suspects as two black teenagers wearing dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts. One male was described as heavier than the other, police said.
