If everyone is Irish on Saint Patrick’s Day then the best place to be on March 18 is the Somerville Theatre to celebrate with Irish step dancing, music and four of Boston’s funniest comedians of Irish descent.

Featuring Comedy From Jim McCue, who went viral this year with his DryBar special “nothing personal” which has had 3 million views. Jim has been featured on Comedy Central, Comcast Comedy Spotlight, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, RedEye on Fox news, Live at Gotham AXS.

Joey Carroll who was featured in NESN’s Roughing It and WCVB’s Chronicle.

Erin Maguire who is an NYC-based stand-up comic, actor, writer, and emcee. Her stand-up was recently featured on Gotham Comedy Live for the Oculus/NextVR Network.

Jack Lynch has been making Boston audiences laugh for over 30 years.

Irish Step Dancing from O’Riley Irish Dance. Jackie O’Riley leads a troupe of her advanced students, dedicated to sharing the beauty and excitement of old-style step dancing with audiences across New England. Jackie  performs and teaches in the US, Canada, and Ireland, was an original member of the touring sean-nós dance show Atlantic Steps, and in 2018 performed at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin as part of Na Píobairí Uilleann’s production, The Sound of Ireland.

Featuring music from Joey Abarta. Joey  is one of the leading uilleann pipers of his generation. He has spent the last 15 years touring North America, Europe, and Asia, teaching and performing music on the national bagpipe of Ireland, the uilleann pipes. In 2009, Joey’s accomplished playing won him an All-Ireland championship. Joey was named a master traditional artist by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
