We asked our Facebook friends to give us their opinion on how the city handled the weekend snow storm. Here are some responses:

Janine White Duffy: Street looks clean but I live on even side and my driveway is always blocked in. I think the rules should be changed already.

Rosemary DeSimone Clark said: I agree, we live on the even side and always get plowed back in. It’s really time to switch to an odd-even schedule so it’s fair for everyone!

Tiffany Rose Gilbert said: My street doesn’t even look like it has been plowed once at the moment, and I also live on the even side and agree with the switch to an odd-even schedule!

Laurie O’Callaghan said: The plow buried my car (on the odd side)…thought all the snow was to be plowed to the even side, THANKS GUYS! I say we start plowing like Medford does, all cars off the streets so both sides can be plowed.

Kimberly Fucile said: Somerville always looks great compared to other cities. The DPW guys do a fantastic job every storm. Their out there doing what no one wants to do and they do it for hours on end. About 24 hours straight already. My driveway also falls on the side that gets plowed in but I would rather dig that out then plow and clear snow for days like them. So thank you to the DPW for all their hard work. I know I appreciate it.

Ron Newman said: Day Street from Orchard Street north is nicely plowed. Day Street from Cambridge line to Orchard is pretty bad — but there’s a snowplow truck here right now making it better
