Welcome Out of School Time Director Heather McCormack to Somerville Public Schools. A familiar face in the Somerville community, Director McCormack fills a brand new position connecting our students with amazing learning and enrichment programming outside of school.

Describing summer camp as a “transformative experience,” Heather has spent her career having a positive impact on youth through engaging out of school time learning experiences that inspire and empower kids. Her impact in Somerville has included working as a site coordinator at the Mystic Learning Center and just prior to joining SPS, as a Youth Program Coordinator for the Somerville Media Center.
