Did your children make tons of macaroni artwork during quarantine? Did you find the post card collections from your great, great, great grandparents in your basement? Or are you an artist making lots of artwork and need to sell or exhibit? Bring your quarantine artwork outdoors!
Yart Sale is an opportunity for you to showcase or sell from the comfort of your yards, driveways and porch. Think of a yard sale but with ART!
How does Yart Sale work? You must upload your information to this google form in order to be included (Be mindful: Respondents will be required to sign into their Google Drive account). SAC will then create a google map and the information you submit here will be used to add “pins” to a map. The map will show which yards are participating in Yart Sale. The map will be released and accessible by Friday, August 13th. When the map becomes public, everyone will be able to follow their GPS to find the different participating yards.
Note- Time will vary on City location: Our zones and time periods are: West of Willow Ave is “west” and will occur b/w 12 to 2 p.m.; the area between Willow Ave. and Central St is Central zone and will occur b/w 2 to 4 p.m; and the area east of Central St is the East zone and will occur from 4-6 p.m.

Why would I need to apply to participate in something that doesn’t take place in/on public property?

Relax. You sign up mainly so that you can be included on the map showing participant’s locations.
Sometimes it pays to actually read the article.
