The Democratic Ward Committee in Ward 7 Somerville is proud to host a Ward 7 Councilor candidate forum over Zoom on Monday, June 28, at 7:00 p.m. Underscoring our commitment to diversity and inclusion, all four candidates for Ward 7 Councilor were invited and have accepted our invitation to participate: Alexander Anderson, Becca Miller, Judy Pineda Neufeld and Maria Koutsoubaris.

The event will be moderated by Ward 7 Committee member and Co-President of Clarendon Residents United Letissia Scott.

Candidates will have the opportunity to answer questions about issues relevant to Somerville Ward 7: all questions will use neutral wording and be presented to all candidates. Zoom/dial-in details will be emailed to all registered attendees before the forum. Following the candidate forum, elected members of the Democratic Ward Committee will hold an endorsement vote for Ward 7 Councilor. The preliminary election is Tuesday, September 14, 2021 and the top two candidates will advance to the general election Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Come join us Monday Monday, June 28, at 7:00 p.m.
