Celebrate Earth day! Residents are invited to sign-up and join Ward Captains, Groundwork Somerville leaders, Main Streets Organizations and City officials in each of the City’s seven wards to help prepare the city for the spring and summer by weeding open spaces, cleaning up streets and beautifying our community following the long winter months.

All participants are invited to meet at their designated ward Saturday April 24, 2021 at 10am. The schedule for the day will be: 10 a.m. to 12p.m. We advise to check the weather and dress accordingly, dress comfortably, and bring a water to stay hydrated. Clean-up materials will be provided. Sanitizing station and masks will be available. We will continue to follow all City protocols for social distancing. We will be doing a check-in to keep numbers at 25 people per location). If you feel sick, please stay home, let’s keep each other safe for more open events!
