Protestors came together in Davis Square Thursday afternoon to peacefully express their feelings about the recent deaths African Americans such as George Floyd and others.

According to reports, Somerville Police officers on the scene were asked to kneel with the protestors but they declined to do so.

No instances of violence or vandalism were reported.
