This past weekend, the HONK! Festival returned for another fun filled year. The first day of events took place on Thursday, October 10, with the Pre-Honk Festivities in Union Square and at Aeronaut Brewery.

The second day of festivities on Friday included the Hoot Pick-up band rehearsal at Dilboy VFW and an all band revue at Bow Market. A lantern making workshop and parade were scheduled to occur that evening but got cancelled due to inclement weather.

On Saturday, the revelry shipped to the Davis Square area. Residents got to enjoy performances by bands throughout the afternoon plus arts and crafts.

The Honk Parade hit the road on Sunday with participation by various bands and organizations, as well as Cambridge Mayor Marc McGovern and Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone walking down the streets from Davis Square to Harvard Square, including the historic Massachusetts Avenue.
