Located at Bow Market in Union Square, Perillas is a pop-up that serves up scratch made Korean Food. Perillas opened at this spot in early September and is slated to be at this location for about six months as one of the rotating pop-ups throughout the market. You can follow them on Instagram @Perilladining or on Facebook, Perillas to stay updated on other pop-up locations throughout the area where you can try one of their Bibimbap bowls.

How it works, pick your base of either long rice or salad greens, pick a protein of bulgogi beef or bulgogi tofu, next come the toppings of julienned carrots, zucchini, pickled red radish, spicy kimchi cucumbers, and fresh romaine lettuce.

For the sauces, a house sauce, which is spicy or a white sauce called yum yum, I highly recommend both, a perfect balance of spicy and slightly sweet flavors that compliment the pickled vegetables. Now for the toppings of Nori, sesame oil and scallions.

Once you get your bowl, mix all the ingredients together for a perfect balance of spicy, sour and sweet, enjoy! All bowls can be offered vegan, dairy free, and gluten free. Since there is no seating in the space itself, you can either sit in the main courtyard or make your way across the courtyard to Remnant Brewing for a brew to wash it down. Corporate and event catering is also available.
