Classic Movie Nights start Thursday

For the month of August, Somerville Media Center brings you Cinema Somerville Outdoor Movies: CLASSICS.

Cinema Somerville is a popup movie series, free to the public and family friendly. All these movies are held at The Somerville Community Growing Center, 22 Vinal Ave.

These outdoor movie screenings start at 7:30 p.m. with a BYOPicnic and will play at 8:30 p.m. (dusk). Seating is limited; moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own portable seats, blankets, and lawn chairs.

AUGUST LINEUP:

  • Thursday, Aug 2nd: Buster Keaton’s “The General” (1926)
  • Thursday, Aug 9th: “The Little Shop of Horrors“ (1960)
  • Thursday, Aug 16th: Charlie Chaplin Marathon
  • Thursday, Aug 23rd: Classic and Retro Cartoons and Commercials
