Winter Hill Brewing produces small batches of various specialty beers that are offered on a rotating basis. Check out their website to view current and future releases. You can pair your favorite beer with one of multiple gourmet, scratch made sandwiches and accoutrements.

On this visit, I opted for the Bratwurst smothered in onion, sauerkraut and mustard served on a potato roll with a side of crispy and flavorful fries. The brat was juicy and had that satisfying snap when bitten into. The sauerkraut had a mild yet aromatic flavor that enhanced the brats flavor topped with spicy mustard for a slight kick at the end. In other words, a perfectly balanced sandwich.

The beer I chose to go with it was the Revenant IPA, a clear, crisp, hoppy, but not highly bitter IPA that went well with the sandwich and the crispy hand cut Rosemary fries. I also tried the Mosaica IPA, a hazy, hoppy, and much more bitter rendition of a great IPA! They also had other beer choices, including a Belgian style ale, a fruity sour, and even a stout. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the visit that much more enjoyable.

Be sure to check out the breweries cafe hours, a full espresso bar and iced coffee beverages by Counter Culture Coffee is offered along with breakfast items and some great looking baked goods.
