Somerville Police capture bank robbery suspects after spree

Somerville police arrested a man in connection with a Sept. 8 robbery at Winter Hill Bank after he allegedly robbed a bank in Malden with another man. Somerville police would not release the robbery suspects name but said they had captured the man in connection with the Somerville robbery.

At about 1:00 p.m. September 8, the suspect entered the bank, passed a note to a teller demanding money and threatened that he had a weapon, police said. The suspect then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.Two men were arrested an hour after the Somerville robbery after they allegedly robbed a bank in Malden – Kenneth Greenleaf, 25, of Cambridge, and Tyler Tolis, 21.
