The candidate profiles are for:

Incumbent state Senator Patricia Jehlen (D) and Cambridge City Councillor Leland Cheung (D) who are running for the 2^nd Middlesex Senate district seat representing Somerville, Medford, and sections of Cambridge and Winchester. Incumbent state Representative Denise Provost (D) and Pirate Party challenger Aaron James are running for the 27^th Middlesex Representative district seat which represents most of the city of Somerville.
