UPDATE:

At approximately 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, Somerville police received a report of a man shot in the neck at the corner of Lowell and Albion Streets. Police have confirmed that upon arrival officers found one male seated in a vehicle shot one time in the neck.

The victim, a 19-year-old male from West Roxbury, was taken to Mass. General Hospital. The wound appeared to be not life-threatening, according to reports.

Neither the victim nor alleged suspect has been named at this time.

The incident is currently under investigation by Somerville police. Further details will be reported as they are release by the authorities.
