From 9 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. Day St., Herbert St., and Chester St. will be closed to traffic for the Race of Ireland road race, which supports Somerville youth.

Beginning at approximately 11 a.m., additional roadways along the route will also be closed temporarily as runners pass beginning on Highland Ave. and continuing onto Cedar St., Broadway through Ball Sq., Powderhouse Blvd., North St., Broadway in Teele Sq., and ending on Holland St. in Davis Sq.

Additionally, due to a separate event, Holland St. from College Ave. to Winter St. will be closed from 4 to 7 p.m. and there will be no parking allowed in that area. Please plan for possible traffic delays in the Davis Square area Sunday evening.
