A little over a month after the Somerville Public Safety building/Police Station flooded and destroyed three quarters of its police cruisers, Wednesday submerged police cruisers are towed out of the re-flooded police lot again.

DPW crews were on scene manning pumps and unblocking clogged storm drains on and around the station.

Mayor Joseph Curtatone earlier in the morning canceled a 1 p.m. press conference that was scheduled for today to announce that the Public Safety building was reopening today and the flooding problems had been solved.
